Feeling the Fire!

Today has been a busy day. I'm making and organizing. I have been selling our products,  in fact I saved up enough money to buy a Kindle Fire (its a E-reader upgraded for touch screen and can have movies and games and also connects to the internet ). See you at the market, we have Mother's Day baskets and gifts!

Long week

This week we stayed up late every night making lotions, sugar scrubs, salt scrubs and more.On Saturday we went to the farmers market and sold kits  lotion and single products. It was fun. Right after I had  my first Basketball game ever and we won 35 to 27(points). It was fun. We also worked on my blog.

Buisness News

How it all began

One day at school my teacher (Mrs. Waldman) said ''we're going to make mothers day gifts, salt scrubs''. So we made them and when I got home a idea popped in to my head and I thought, I could sell salt scrubs. So I asked my mom and she said that I could sell salt scrubs and I could sell sugar scrubs. So I sold them for a while and business was good until one day I thought I wanted to sell more than just salt and sugar scrubs. So I descided to expand my business to include lotions, soap, salves, scrubs, bath bombs, bath salts, lip balm and more!

New Business

Farm Kid Creations is the brain child of Gavin (age 9) and his sister Hallie (age 6). They will be making homemade products from our farm to sell. All earnings will go into their college fund, and they will be running all aspects of the buisness, with a little help from mom and dad when needed. This is a project to teach them the importance of money and running a business, but also to give them an opportunity to express themselves and use all that energy and brain power they have as a youth.
